Chappell Roan publicly thanked her security team during her Lollapalooza Brasil performance on Saturday, hours after she became embroiled in a high-profile controversy involving the family of actor Jude Law.

The acknowledgment came shortly after Brazilian footballer Jorginho Frello accused the singer’s security of aggressive conduct at a São Paulo hotel. In an Instagram Stories post, Jorginho alleged that his wife, Catherine Harding, and his 11-year-old stepdaughter, Ada Law—Jude Law’s child—were involved in a distressing encounter with Roan’s team.

According to the footballer, the incident began when Ada, excited to see the artist at breakfast, merely looked to confirm the singer’s presence and smiled. He claimed a security guard misinterpreted the child’s actions as harassment and threatened to file a complaint, leaving Ada in tears.

Roan thanked her crew during her set, stating, “Thank you to my security, my crew.” It remains unclear if she was aware of the allegations at the time, as she did not address them directly.
