Noah Beck cast as rookie lifeguard Luke in Fox's upcoming Baywatch series

Noah Beck has joined the cast of Fox's upcoming Baywatch television series as a series regular.

The actor, known for his leading role in Tubi's Sidelined franchise, will portray Luke, a rookie lifeguard with deep family ties to firefighting.

According to production details, Luke is the youngest in a family of firefighters who chose the beach over the firehouse. Described as the ultimate charming SoCal beach boy, he is a surfer and flirt who excels at lifesaving despite his youth. The character's journey involves significant growth through his mentorship with Stephen Amell's Hobie Buchannon, whom he views as a father figure.

Beck joins a cast that includes Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, Brooks Nader as Selene, and David Chokachi reprising his original role as Cody Madison from the 1990s series.

The reboot centers on a grown Hobie Buchannon serving as Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father Mitch. His world shifts when daughter Charlie arrives eager to continue the Buchannon family legacy. The series is scheduled to launch on Fox during the 2026-2027 season, with production beginning this spring in the Los Angeles area.

The original Baywatch premiered in 1989 and ran for 11 seasons, becoming the most-watched show globally with over one billion weekly viewers at its peak. The series launched numerous careers including Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Jason Momoa and Yasmine Bleeth.

Fox Entertainment and Fremantle co-produce the new iteration. Matt Nix serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside premiere episode director McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz.

Beck brings significant digital influence to the role with more than 40 million followers across platforms. His work in Sidelined: The QB and Me remains Tubi's most-watched original title. Upcoming projects include Danny Ramirez's directorial debut Baton alongside Lewis Pullman, Camila Mendes and Becky G. He is represented by UTA, Underscore Talent and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
