The woman accused of shooting at Rihanna's Beverly Hills home posted disturbing messages about the singer on social media weeks before the incident.

Ivana Lisette Ortiz, 35, faces attempted murder charges following the Sunday morning shooting.

Authorities allege Ortiz fired at least seven shots at the property using an AR-15-style rifle from her Tesla. One bullet penetrated a wall of the mansion, while others struck the gate and an RV parked in the driveway. Rihanna was home at the time, though it remains unclear whether her husband A$AP Rocky or their three children were present. No injuries were reported.

Law enforcement officials located Ortiz shortly after the shooting and took her into custody. A search of her vehicle revealed an assault rifle and seven casings, according to LAPD spokesperson Armen Arias.

Prior to the incident, Ortiz posted concerning content about Rihanna on her Facebook page. On February 23, she uploaded a photo of herself with a caption seemingly addressing the singer directly. "@badgalriri Are you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I'm not at," she wrote.

Another post targeted rapper Cardi B. In a video, Ortiz stated: "You can't f*** with me, Cardi B. You're supposedly busy right now. But you know who has the cutest outfit tonight? You know who's the cutest tonight? I am. I'm the cutest tonight. You ain't doing nothing to me. You ain't messing with me tonight."

Ortiz now faces attempted murder charges in connection with the shooting. Authorities continue investigating the incident.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have three children together: sons RZA, born May 2022, and Riot, born August 2023, and daughter Rocki, born in 2025. Rocky released his latest studio album Don't Be Dumb in January, while Rihanna continues working on her long-awaited follow-up to 2016's Anti.
