Youth assaulted, humiliated

A 19-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted and forcibly shaved while bathing in a canal.

According to a complaint filed by Khalid Mahmood, his nephew Allah Ditta was attacked by four men riding motorcycles, including Mehboob and Nasir.

The assailants reportedly thrashed Allah Ditta before forcibly shaving him. Local residents Ashraf and Umar Hayat rushed to help the victim, but the attackers fled.

A case was registered under Sections 337-V and 34 of the PPC.

Jaranwala Saddar police said they had carried out raids to apprehend the suspects.
