PM formally launches Rs38b Ramazan package

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday announced the formal launch of the PM Ramazan Relief Package 2026, with an allocation of Rs38 billion.

He made the announcement while chairing a review meeting on the Ramazan Relief Package 2026.

Addressing the participants, he highlighted that the assistance amount has been increased from Rs5,000 to Rs13,000 per household to provide meaningful financial support to deserving individuals during the holy month of Ramazan.

"This is the largest and most comprehensive Ramazan relief package in the country," the Prime Minister said.
