The remarks come amid Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, launched in response to unprovoked attacks by Afghan Taliban forces along multiple points of the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.
Security sources confirmed that the operation has so far resulted in the deaths of at least 72 Taliban combatants, injuries to over 120, and the destruction or capture of multiple Taliban posts. Significant targets, including ammunition depots, battalion headquarters, sector headquarters, tanks, artillery guns, and armored personnel carriers, have been destroyed during sustained retaliatory strikes.
The operation has seen decisive action across sectors including Mohmand, Bajaur, Kurram, South Waziristan, and Nawapas, where Pakistani forces successfully thwarted infiltration attempts by Taliban and other militant elements.
