Interior minister arrives in Italy

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Italy on an important visit, where he will meet the interior ministers of three countries. According to Express News, the interior ministers of Italy, Greece, and Spain will hold meetings with Mohsin Naqvi.
The interior ministers of Italy, Greece, and Spain will acknowledge the efforts of Pakistan's Ministry of Interior in curbing illegal immigration.
According to a statement, a Punjab police officer will brief the interior ministers on the Punjab government's Police Khidmat Markaz Global initiative, which has received appreciation across Europe. Other important matters will also be discussed in detail during the meeting of the interior ministers.
Under Spain's new residency scheme, eligible overseas Pakistanis will initially be issued one-year resident cards with a pathway to permanent residency and citizenship available after seven to eight years.
