CM congratulates nation on anti-terror operation

Says forces destroyed 7 terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan, elements behind recent suicide attacks have been exposed

KARACHI:

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Sunday congratulated the nation on the successful operation against terrorists.

According to a statement from the CM House, he said that there can be no compromise on the country's sovereignty.

Shah said that our security forces have successfully destroyed seven terrorist hideouts located in Afghanistan. He said that Pakistan has given a strong defensive response to terrorism originating from Afghan soil.

"Pakistan's security is our top priority," he said, adding that the elements behind the recent suicide attacks have been exposed.

The CM said that concrete evidence exists regarding the attacks on the Islamabad Imambargah, Bajaur and Bannu.

He said that decisive action against terrorists and their facilitators is essential for the protection of the nation.

Shah said that Pakistan seeks peace but not at the cost of weakness. He said that no form of terrorism will be tolerated.
