2 killed in shooting

Two men were shot dead and a third critically injured in a clash between rival groups in Sultan Kay village in the Sundar area.
According to Sundar police, the violence erupted over a trivial issue that escalated after cow dung was reportedly thrown in front of a house, leading to an altercation and gunfire.
One of the deceased was Muneer alias Muneera Mochi, while the identity of the second could not be confirmed till the evening. The injured man was rushed to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition. Police sources said the shots were allegedly fired men associated with the Nanha Guava group.
The incident was under investigation. Sundar police cordoned off the area and forensic teams collected evidence, including spent bullet casings.
Eyewitnesses and family members were being questioned and an FIR was registered under sections related to murder, attempted murder and use of prohibited weapons.
