STPP announces 'Karachi is Sindh' rally

Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STPP) while condemning the alleged the governor house meeting, discussing division of Sindh, has announced holding of 'Karachi is Sindh' public meeting in Karachi after Eidul Fitr. Talking to the media in Hyderabad on Saturday STPP's Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi deplored that a place like the governor house is being used to conspire against the province's integrity.

"The federal government should remove governor Sindh [Kamran Tessori] to fulfill its constitutional obligation," he demanded. He contended that being a representative of the federation in the province, a governor is supposed to keep himself above politics instead of indulging in activities aimed against the integrity of a province.

"The incumbent governor is organising activities in the governor house on the basis of ethnic politics," he deplored. Magsi claimed that hundreds of thousands of people will attend 'Karachi is Sindh' public meeting in the metropolis to send an unequivocal message to the elements seeking division of Sindh that they will fail again. He appealed to the people of Karachi who may speak any language to participate in the public meeting to defeat the elements who want to stir ethnic unrest in the province.
