Murree unveils billion-rupee uplift plan
A major development programme worth billions of rupees has been launched in Murree following approval of an extensive development package.
A high-level meeting chaired by Pakistan Muslim League-N patron Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was held at the Government House in Murree to review the Murree Development Plan.
The meeting approved plans to transform Kotli Sattian into a modern tourism hub, alongside the initiation of 14 development schemes. Key projects include the establishment of a glamping resort, a paragliding centre and a sky glass bridge. The Murree Glass Train project will operate on a 40-kilometre route, with an extension planned from Islamabad Airport to Muzaffarabad.
