Hermès is taking game night to another level with a nearly $300,000 pool table, proving once again that no item is too ordinary for a high-fashion makeover.

The French luxury house, best known for its Birkin bags and silk scarves, has listed an American-style 8-foot pool table priced at $296,700. Crafted in France, the table features lacquered curved legs and rails, with a cabinet and pockets wrapped in Regate taurillon leather. The bed cloth is made from a 90% wool and 10% nylon blend.

Luxury extends to every detail. The table comes with four maple wood cue sticks finished with leather wraps and polished hornbeam shafts. Need an extra? A spare cue will cost you $5,100.

Accessories include a bakelite rack trimmed in lacquer and leather, billiard chalk wrapped in leather, and a branded Hermès cover, all designed to match the table’s polished aesthetic.

Hermès describes the piece as having an “archetypal shape,” pairing matte leather with glossy lacquer for what it calls a timeless presence. In practical terms, it’s a pool table where even the smallest details reflect the brand’s heritage craftsmanship.

Founded in 1837 as a harness workshop in Paris, Hermès has long been synonymous with fine leather goods before expanding into fashion, accessories and home décor. The pool table joins a lineup of ultra-premium home items, including a $27,900 backgammon board and a $130,400 chess and checkers table.

For those with deep pockets — and enough space — it’s perhaps the most extravagant way to sink an eight ball.
