Cameras to monitor science practical exams
Circular states that if preparations are not completed in time, action will be taken against principal lab in-charges

The Matriculation 2026 Exam Task Force has issued orders to the principals of all exam centres and schools to immediately install closed circuit cameras in all science laboratories to ensure transparent practical exams of the science subjects.
The task force has issued a circular to all schools, with instructions to complete preparations of science laboratories for practical exams by February 28.
The circular states that all computers in the science laboratories should be operational and all chemical and equipment for other subjects' exams should be made available in the labs. Technical science monitoring teams will visit the exam centres after February 28 to inspect the laboratories s in all districts and tehsils.

Practical exams will consist of two parts, with the first consisting of the practical's book performance, and the second part consisting of the practical exam itself. Resident inspectors, who will remain at the exam centres, will be responsible for all checking. The principals have also been instructed to arrange a waiting room for the parents of the female students appearing for their practical exams.
