Severe water shortage hits Murree
.

A severe water shortage in Murree has left residents facing acute hardship, as the water supply has remained completely suspended for several days in several parts of the city.
According to local residents, areas within the inner city including Siddiq Chowk, Lower Bazaar, Lower Jhika Gali Road, the Old Atta Mandi and surrounding neighbourhoods have been without water, causing widespread distress.
The unavailability of water amid intense cold and sub-zero temperatures has become a source of immense suffering for the public. Residents say they have no access to water for ablution, drinking or household use, while officials of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) have remained unresponsive.
