2026 Oscar nominations revealed
The 98th annual Academy Awards will be hosted by Conan O'Brien on March 15

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has unveiled the full list of nominations for the 98th annual Academy Awards, set to take place on March 15, 2026, in Los Angeles with Conan O’Brien returning as host.
This year’s roster spans 24 competitive categories, including the brand‑new Best Casting award — the first new Oscar category in more than two decades.
The vampire thriller Sinners leads the field with a record‑breaking 16 nominations, including major categories such as Best Picture, Best Director (Ryan Coogler), Best Actor (Michael B. Jordan), Best Supporting Actor (Delroy Lindo), and Best Supporting Actress (Wunmi Mosaku).
