Sean Penn, 65, was seen with girlfriend Valeria Nicov, 30, in Santa Monica, as couple continue outings since 2024

Sean Penn was photographed spending time with his girlfriend, Valeria Nicov, during a casual outing in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday, January 14. The appearance marked the latest public sighting of the couple, who were first seen together in September 2024.

The actor, 65, and the model, 30, were pictured walking hand in hand while shopping. Both wore coordinated black-and-white outfits. Penn was dressed in a white button-up shirt layered under a structured blue blazer, paired with black trousers and white trainers.

Nicov opted for a monochrome black look, wearing a black turtleneck beneath a black peacoat, matched with black trousers and trainers. She accessorised with a black baguette bag and sunglasses, while Penn was seen smoking as they walked.

The sighting came shortly after Penn attended the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on January 11, where he received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another.

During the ceremony, he was photographed seated with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio and others. Nicov did not appear alongside him at the event.

Penn and Nicov have made several public appearances since being linked in 2024. They were first spotted together in Madrid in September of that year, followed by sightings at Los Angeles International Airport the following month.

In November 2024, they made their red carpet debut at the 21st Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco, where Penn was honoured with a career achievement award.

The couple were also photographed attending the 78th Cannes Film Festival in May 2025, further confirming the ongoing nature of their relationship.

Prior to his relationship with Nicov, Penn was married to Madonna from 1985 to 1989, Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010, and Leila George from 2020 to 2022. He has also previously been linked to Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson and Olga Korotyayeva.
