ALLDAY PROJECT’s Annie goes on hiatus to attend spring semester at Columbia University

Despite Annie’s temporary return to university, ALLDAY PROJECT will continue its activities

ALLDAY PROJECT’s Annie will resume her studies at Columbia University in the United States this spring, according to a statement released by her agency.

The announcement confirms that the singer will return to campus in New York as she prepares to complete her degree.

On January 14, THEBLACKLABEL said, “Annie will be returning to Columbia University in New York this month. She will devote herself to graduating.” The agency added that Annie plans to make use of the group’s break period between comebacks to focus on her academic commitments.

Annie will attend the spring semester, which runs through May, and is expected to balance her studies alongside selected overseas schedules. While she will remain in New York for several months to concentrate on campus life, she is also set to participate in activities such as international fan sign events during the semester.

Despite Annie’s temporary return to university, ALLDAY PROJECT will continue its activities. The remaining members are expected to focus on individual projects while the group remains on hiatus, allowing Annie the time needed to complete her coursework.

Annie is currently majoring in Art History and Visual Arts at Columbia University, one of the most prestigious institutions in the United States. She previously took a leave of absence ahead of graduation in order to focus on her debut and promotional activities with ALLDAY PROJECT, which officially launched last June.

Beyond her career in music, Annie is also known for her prominent family background. She is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group chair Lee Myung Hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Co. chair Chung Yoo Kyung. Her return to university marks a renewed focus on education alongside her ongoing work in the entertainment industry.

The agency has not confirmed when Annie will rejoin full group promotions, but stated that she intends to complete her studies while maintaining her professional commitments where possible.
