Heavy traffic kills two in Keamari

KARACHI:

Two people lost their lives in separate road accidents involving heavy vehicles within half an hour in the Baldia and SITE areas of Keamari district on Sunday.

In the jurisdiction of Madina Colony police station, a trailer ran over a motorcyclist on the Northern Bypass Road. The victim died on the spot. SHO Madina Colony, Hukum Dad, said the trailer driver responsible for the accident managed to flee the scene. The deceased could not be immediately identified.

In a separate incident, another motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a trailer near Wailika in SITE Area A. The body was also transported to Civil Hospital Karachi by an Edhi ambulance.

According to Head Moharrar Sharifullah, police arrested the trailer driver and took the vehicle into custody. The deceased has yet to be identified,
