KARACHI:

Under the patronage of prominent minority leader and senior parliamentarian Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, the Pakistan Hindu Council, in collaboration with the Dr Prem Kumar Sital Das Memorial Trust, organised the 19th annual collective wedding ceremony at Railway Ground, Karachi. The colourful event saw 125 Hindu couples from across the country enter into the sacred bond of marriage.

Couples, their families, and guests from Sindh and other provinces arrived at the venue through specially arranged transport, including buses and vehicles. The venue was beautifully decorated with electric lights and vibrant illumination, while guests were warmly welcomed with the melodious sounds of shehnai, traditional drumbeats, and cultural dances. Strict security arrangements were also in place throughout the event.

Speaking to the media, Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani said that helping establish a home is among the greatest acts of virtue. "Assisting poor and deserving couples in starting their married lives brings immense spiritual satisfaction," he said.
