PBC decries 'filthy campaign' against LHC judges

The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has strongly condemned a campaign of character assassination targeting two female judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC).

PBC Vice Chairman Tahir Nasrullah Warraich on Saturday issued a statement saying that the allegations against the judges — Chief Justice Aalia Neelum and Justice Abher Gul Khan — are an attack on the prestige and dignity of the judiciary as an institution.

He urged that the NCCIA take immediate action against vloggers involved in the campaign, register FIRs against them, and deal with them with an iron hand.
