Brazilian football star Neymar has added a striking piece of movie history to his personal collection, becoming the owner of a full-scale replica of the Batmobile used in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, according to reports shared on January 8.

The Brazilian icon revealed the acquisition on social media, posting images of the armored "Tumbler" Batmobile parked alongside his helicopter and private jet. He captioned the post, "Dreams can come true," signaling the fulfillment of a long-standing childhood ambition. The images quickly drew attention online, blending Nolan's gritty Batman mythology with Neymar's reputation for high-profile, luxury collectibles.

The Batmobile replica is reported to have cost approximately £1.3 million and took close to three years to complete. Around 50 specialists were involved in the build, producing a screen-accurate version that closely matches the vehicle featured in the Dark Knight films. While fully detailed, the replica is not street-legal and is intended strictly as a collector's display piece.

After its completion, the vehicle was transported from the Dream Car Museum near São Paulo to Neymar's private garage. It now forms part of a broader collection that reflects his preference for rare, custom-built vehicles rather than traditional supercars.

Neymar's fascination with Batman has been public for several years. He attended the Paris premiere of The Batman in 2022, where he interacted with cast members Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz. The Batmobile joins other Batman-themed assets in his collection, including a helicopter often referred to as the "Batcopter" and a matte-black private jet.

The helicopter is reportedly valued at around $14 million, while Neymar's Dassault Falcon 900LX private jet is estimated to be worth roughly $50 million. Combined, the Batman-inspired portion of his collection alone is believed to total approximately $65 million, underscoring the scale of the footballer's investment in both pop culture and luxury aviation.

Neymar made his professional debut with Santos in 2009 and won the Copa Libertadores in 2011, scoring in the finals. In 2013, Barcelona signed him and he soon became part of a dominant attacking trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez — known as MSN. In 2014-15, Neymar won the treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League, finishing as the top goalscorer of both that season's Champions League and the Copa del Rey. In the following season, he helped Barcelona win the double. In 2017, he left the club to join Paris Saint-Germain, becoming the most expensive player in history after his €222 million release clause was activated. From 2018 onwards, injuries hampered Neymar's career, causing limited game time. Despite this, he was instrumental to PSG retrieving the Ligue 1 title in his debut season, led them to their first-ever Champions League final in 2020, became one of the their all-time top goalscorers, and won four more Ligue 1 titles. In 2023, he joined Saudi club Al-Hilal before returning to Santos in January 2025.

At 18, Neymar debuted for Brazil and has since become the nation's second-most-capped player, only trailing Cafu. He is the nation's all-time top goalscorer, with 79 goals in 128 matches. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in men's football, Neymar helped Brazil reach the final, ultimately receiving the Olympic silver medal. In the following year, he won the FIFA Confederations Cup and received the Golden Ball. In the 2014 FIFA World Cup, he was named in the Dream Team and received the Bronze Boot.
