Rawalpindi Bar polls today

The 80th annual elections of the Rawalpindi District Bar Association, Punjab's third-largest district bar, will be held today, Saturday, January 10.

The election arena has been fully set, with expectations of tough and closely fought contests.

Due to the elections, an unannounced holiday will be observed today in sessions, civil, family, and magistrate courts. A total of 5,314 lawyers will exercise their right to vote.

Tough contests are expected for the posts of president, secretary, vice president, and joint secretary.
