The Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi organised the Annual Students' Art Show showcasing creative works by emerging artists across multiple disciplines.
Artworks by students from the departments of calligraphy, painting and sketching, graphic designing, fashion & textile design, and interior designing were on display, reflecting their creativity, skill and contemporary artistic expression.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guests, Information & Culture Department Parliamentary Secretary Shazia Rizwan and CDA Deputy Director General (Enforcement) Anum Fatima. A total of 50 students were awarded certificates in recognition of their artistic achievements. The event was organised under the guidance of faculty members Khuram Babury, Younis Roomi, Samra Humayun, Waqar Ali, Quratulain, Usman Ahmed Mirza and Sameeha Khaliq, whose efforts were appreciated by the guests.
The chief guests commended the students and faculty for promoting art education and encouraging young talent, emphasising the role of arts in cultural development and creative growth. Arts Council Director Shakoor paid special gratitude to all. The show will continue till January 12.
