PTI lawyers' wing adrift after leader's exit

PESHAWAR:

Lawyers associated with the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) are facing growing difficulties following the resignation of its provincial president, Qazi Muhammad Anwar Advocate, which has rendered the forum's cabinet inactive. The situation has also raised concerns about a possible setback to the ongoing movement for the release of the party's founding chairman.

Qazi Anwar tendered his resignation from the post after he was allegedly ignored by the party during nominations to the Pakistan Bar Council. Following his departure, the ILF's provincial cabinet became non-functional, leading to disruption in routine organisational affairs.
