Weekly jail interaction: Imran meets wife

Former prime minister Imran Khan was allowed a second meeting with his wife, Bushra Bibi, within a span of two weeks. The meeting was held in the conference room of Adiala Jail and lasted for 45 minutes. Imran and Bushra are both detained at the same prison facility.

According to jail sources, the meeting took place on Tuesday.

The PTI founder was shifted from his barrack to the conference room, while Bushra Bibi, who is detained in the women's barrack, was also brought there. The meeting between the husband and wife was conducted under the supervision of jail police.

Sources said a similar meeting had also been arranged last Tuesday in accordance with court orders and jail manual rules. During the meeting, both inquired about each other's well-being and held a conversation.

Jail sources further revealed that on Tuesday, the jail administration also received some essential items from Bushra's lawyer.
