Police arrest employee over illegal parking fees

Preedy Police have registered a case and arrested an employee for collecting illegal parking fees at the Cantonment Charge Parking, following a viral video that sparked public outrage.

The video showed the employee demanding Rs50 from a biker. The footage also captured a heated exchange between the employee and the citizen. Following the video's circulation, the case was registered against the parking contractor, Aziz-ur-Rehman, after the complainant stated that on Wednesday, an employee named Zakir was found double-parking bikes and collecting charges at the site, causing traffic congestion and inconvenience for pedestrians. The suspect was arrested and brought to the station.
