Two killed in Shikarpur tribal clash, honour killing

A man killed his wife while assailants killed a young man of their rival group, recorded a video with his dead body

SHIKARPUR:

A tribal clash and an incident of honour killing claimed two lives in Shikarpur district on Tuesday. A man, identified as Athar Lalejo, shot dead his wife Sahiba Lalejo in a riverbed village in the limits of Kot Shahu police station.

The police said the suspect escaped from their village after killing the woman for honour.

In another incident in the riverine village Abdul Haq Badani, assailants killed a young man of their rival group and later they recorded a video while posing with his dead body before posting it on social media. The slain person Imtiaz Badani reportedly belonged to Abdul Haq Badani's group while the killers are said to be a part of Jalal Badani's group.
