KARACHI:

A woman, who allegedly teamed up with a man to commit robberies to support her ice (crystal meth) addiction, faced a tragic outcome when her male accomplice was shot and killed during a robbery attempt in North Nazimabad.

According to police, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning near Landi Kotal Chowrangi in North Nazimabad. A man, identified as Moeed Khan, had stopped his car to buy fruit when the pair, riding a motorcycle, approached him at gunpoint.

The duo proceeded to snatch his cash, mobile phone, and bag, before attempting to flee the scene. In response, Khan fired upon the robbers with his licensed firearm. The robbers returned fire, with one bullet striking the car door. However, Khan's shot struck the male suspect, resulting in his death at the scene.

The female accomplice, who was later identified as Shamma, attempted to escape while firing gunshots. Police arrived at the scene on time and arrested her.
