A model court on Tuesday sentenced two accused to life imprisonment and imposed fines of Rs500,000 each in a murder case of a factory owner during a robbery attempt near Mochi Gate.
Model Court Judge Riaz Ahmed announced the verdict after completion of the trial. During the proceedings, Prosecutor Habibur Rehman presented 17 witnesses to prove the charges against the accused.
According to the prosecution, the convicts, Saad and Sameer, were employees at the victim's factory.
