Miley Cyrus wants to do a song for ‘Heated Rivalry’ season 2, François Arnaud reacts
Miley Cyrus says she’s ‘so in’ for ‘Heated Rivalry’ season 2 music. François Arnaud jokes about a discount

Miley Cyrus has officially expressed interest in contributing a song to the hit HBO Max/Crave series Heated Rivalry’s second season, even though she hasn’t watched the show yet. At the Palm Springs International Film Festival gala on Saturday, Cyrus enthusiastically told reporters, “Oh, I’m so in. Book me. Get me booked!” She added that despite being unfamiliar with the series, she was ready to jump on board.
The show’s star, François Arnaud, shared his reaction at the Critics Choice Awards the following day. Arnaud joked about the potential budget implications, saying, “I think we might get a little bit bigger budget for Season 2, but I don’t know if we get Miley budget. If she sees the show, she might give us a discount.” Arnaud also shared what he hopes to see from his character Scott Hunter and his boyfriend Kip in the new season, hinting at challenges of dating someone suddenly thrust into fame.
Fans of the series, including Sorry, Baby filmmaker Eva Victor, revealed their excitement at the Critics Choice carpet. Victor gushed about the show, calling it “the most sexually interesting thing I have ever seen… On a brainiac level it’s sexually interesting and very tantalizing.” The enthusiasm seems mutual, with Cyrus already signaling she wants to be part of the creative process.
While Miley hasn’t yet dived into the series herself, she confirmed it’s now on her must-watch list. With her energy and fandom for Heated Rivalry, Season 2 may see a surprising collaboration that blends the show’s tension with her musical flair.
