PPP leader pays rich tribute to Bhutto

Pakistan Peoples Party Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan, in a message on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, said that Bhutto's timeless struggle and monumental services for the country and the nation constitute a bright and golden chapter in Pakistan's history.

He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave Pakistan a consensus Constitution, empowered the people with political awareness and rights, and laid strong foundations for democracy. His people-friendly policies, he added, remain a ray of hope for the marginalized segments of society even today.

Muhammad Humayun Khan said the sacrifices of the Bhutto family are unparalleled in Pakistan's democratic history. Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and the Bhutto family rendered supreme sacrifices for democracy, public rights and the security of the country.
