Man receives e-chalan for stolen bike

According to affected citizen, motorcycle was stolen from Liaquatabad in 2023

A citizen has received an e-challan for a motorcycle that was stolen two years ago.

According to the affected citizen, his motorcycle was stolen from Liaquatabad on December 7, 2023, and a formal FIR was registered at the time. Despite the passage of two years, the vehicle has not been recovered. However, on December 28, 2025, he unexpectedly received an e-challan.

The challan was issued near the National Stadium flyover for a helmet violation. The citizen expressed shock, saying the motorcycle has not been in his possession since the theft, making the traffic violation incomprehensible. He appealed to the police and relevant authorities to take effective measures for the recovery of his stolen motorcycle. He added that such incidents only add to the difficulties and mental distress faced by citizens.
