Three brothers die of electrocution

SARGODHA:

Three brothers were electrocuted to death in Talib Colony in the 78-Pul area under the jurisdiction of the Sargodha Cantonment police station on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122 sources, Shahid Masih, aged 25, was carrying out masonry work on the roof of his house when he accidentally came into contact with high-voltage electricity wires.

His brothers Asif and Abid rushed to rescue him but were also electrocuted.

All three brothers died on the spot.

Police and Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of the three brothers by electrocution.

In a statement, she extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.
