Sabrina Carpenter teams up with Miss Piggy in teaser for The Muppet Show revival
Sabrina Carpenter appears alongside Miss Piggy in a new teaser for Disney+’s revived The Muppet Show

Sabrina Carpenter has joined forces with Miss Piggy in a new teaser for Disney’s upcoming revival of The Muppet Show, set to premiere February 4, 2026, on Disney+ and ABC.
The 30-second clip debuted during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, giving viewers a first extended look at the reimagined series produced by Seth Rogen.
The teaser features Carpenter interacting with Miss Piggy and hints at the blend of music, comedy, and chaos that defined the original series. According to the official logline, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the wider Muppet ensemble return to the original Muppet Theatre for a special event featuring Carpenter as the guest star. The revival aims to preserve the classic variety-show format while introducing contemporary musical acts and pop culture humor.
The preview follows an earlier, shorter teaser released by Disney+ in December, building anticipation for the show’s return. The project marks another high-profile collaboration between Disney and Rogen, who serves as an executive producer alongside Evan Goldberg.
Carpenter’s appearance continues her growing presence in television and pop culture crossovers. The singer and actress previously shared a viral moment with Miss Piggy in November 2025, when Carpenter staged a playful onstage “arrest” of the Muppet during her concert at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.
The Muppet Show revival is positioned as a special-event series rather than a long-running season, with a focus on celebrity guests, musical performances, and classic Muppet humor. Additional guest stars and episode details are expected to be announced ahead of the February premiere.
