Road safety drive launched
.

The general public must have command over traffic rules, signals and precautionary measures, as strict adherence ensures a better quality of life, public peace, and protection of citizens’ lives.
This was emphasised by City Traffic Officer (CTO) Nasir Javed Rana during a seminar on traffic safety held at Iqbal Auditorium at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).
The event was jointly organised by the Institute of Agriculture Extension, Education and Rural Development, UAF, and the City Traffic Police.
CTO Rana highlighted that road safety is not merely a legal obligation but a moral responsibility.
He said that a significant percentage of road accidents involve traffic violations, noting that 95 percent of motorists in Faisalabad now use helmets and seat belts.
