Mother-in-law's murderer arrested

LAHORE:

Police arrested a man for the murder of his 62-year-old mother-in-law in Raiwind. The victim, Raisa Bibi, had been found dead earlier this month. A team led by Inspector Jamshed Abbas of Raiwind city police station arrested the victim's son-in-law, who was residing in the same house.

Investigators said the suspect had attempted to evade suspicion by participating in funeral arrangements and burial rites following the murder.
