Two proclaimed offenders detained

Dolphin Squad arrested two proclaimed offenders wanted by police in Sindh and Narowal for robbery and murder.

According to a spokesperson, the arrests were made during routine checking near New Ravi Bridge and Thokar Niaz Baig. Using the police e-app, the squad identified the suspects, Muzammil and Sharafat.

One of the suspects was wanted by Sindh Police in a case of injuring a citizen during a robbery, while the other was wanted by Narowal police in cases of murder and attempted murder. Both suspects had been declared proclaimed offenders in their cases.

The spokesperson said the suspects had been hiding in Lahore to evade arrest. Following their detention, they were handed over to Chung and Shahdara police for coordination with the relevant departments.

Police record showed that cases against the suspects were registered at Sharae Faisal police station and various police stations in Narowal. The suspects are expected to be transferred to the custody of the relevant police authorities.
