Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, addressing office-bearers and activists of the Insaf Students Federation (ISF), stressed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its affiliated organizations have always pursued their struggle within the bounds of the constitution and law, forming the foundation of their political identity.
Highlighting citizens' right to peaceful protest under Pakistan's Constitution, Afridi emphasized that this right must be exercised with full discipline and adherence to legal norms. He announced that preparations for a "street movement," under the directives of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, have commenced and called for organized, comprehensive planning at all levels.
Afridi urged youth to focus on discipline, awareness, and organization rather than emotions. He noted that genuine struggle for freedom requires sustained, serious, and systematic effort, and preparation at every level is essential. Referring to the history of the Insaf Students Federation, he stated that it is the only student organization that has consistently promoted peaceful, civilized, and constitutional activism. Past protests, sit-ins, and rallies organized by the federation, he said, have never involved violence, misconduct, or unconstitutional actions.
"The success of the street movement will depend on a strong organizational structure," Afridi said, instructing the federation to fully activate and strengthen chapters in every university, college, and educational institution. He emphasized that the party's real strength emerges from the grassroots, and organizational readiness should extend to wards, union councils, and district levels.
Afridi criticized corrupt and anti-national political forces for undermining state institutions, democracy, and the judiciary, spreading political instability, and attempting to mislead youth from their core objectives. He stressed that young activists must remain vigilant against negative propaganda while keeping the focus of their struggle clear.
