Senior bureaucrat ends life in tragic shooting

PESHAWAR:

A senior bureaucrat in Peshawar allegedly committed suicide in a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through the province's administrative circles.

According to police officials, Grade-18 government officer Javed Sanam ended his life by shooting himself inside his home. The tragic incident came to light when family members discovered the body and immediately alerted police.

Upon receiving the information, police swiftly arrived at the scene. The body was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for post-mortem examination. Investigators have begun collecting evidence from the site and have formally initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death.
