Niall Horan set to miss The Voice finale performance after being placed on vocal rest
Niall Horan revealed that he has been dealing with vocal strain following a demanding schedule

Niall Horan is set to sit out his scheduled performance during the upcoming Season 28 finale of The Voice after being placed on vocal rest. The singer and coach has revealed he has been dealing with vocal strain following a demanding schedule and was advised by doctors not to sing during the finale despite starting to feel better.
Horan was originally expected to perform alongside his finalist during the show, but the change will require the performance to be reworked before it airs.
Fellow coach Reba McEntire is expected to step in and perform with the contestant in his place, showing support as Horan prioritizes his health.
Speculation had already begun among fans after Horan appeared noticeably absent from promotional material ahead of the finale.
Fans have taken to social media to share concern over his wellbeing while praising the show’s handling of the situation ahead of the highly anticipated episode.
“So sorry that Niall has been sick and won’t be able to sing. Feel better soon Niall!!” one wrote.
“NIALL ISNT SINGING? OH WE SO LOST,” another remarked.
“Niall on vocal rest were already robbed of him singing with Aiden tomorrow,” one more fan wrote.
The season finale will air as planned, featuring performances from the remaining contestants and special guests, while Horan is expected to remain part of the coaching panel and return to performing once he has fully recovered.
