The accident occurred near Nagori Kanta in Gadap City, when a car collided with a stationary truck. Three family members died on the spot: 55-year-old Ashkok, his wife 50-year-old Seeta, and their 22-year-old son Sahil. Another son, Sanjay, was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

Motorway police and Rescue 1122’s highway team quickly responded. The injured son received immediate treatment before being transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Police said the driver told his father he was feeling sleepy but continued driving. Investigators believe the crash occurred when the driver lost control after dozing off.

SHO Gadap City, Sarfraz Jatoi, said the family were residents of Islamkot, Tharparkar district, and were travelling to a wedding in Karachi's Bahadurabad area. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.

The motorway police have confirmed that the driver’s fatigue was the primary cause of the crash, and investigations are ongoing.
