The upcoming eight‑episode series Margo’s Got Money Troubles has formally locked in its premiere date: April 15, 2026. The show, adapted from the hit novel by Rufi Thorpe and brought to life by veteran showrunner David E. Kelley along with production powerhouse A24, promises a powerful, gritty and heart‑warming story of a young woman fighting to rebuild her life.

At the center is Margo, portrayed by Elle Fanning, a recent college dropout turned new mother forced to navigate life with a mounting pile of bills, a newborn child, and no clear way forward. Her parents, played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman, a former waitress and ex‑pro wrestler respectively, form the unconventional foundation around which the drama unfolds.

From the outset, the series plunges into raw realism, tackling themes of economic hardship, parenthood, and survival with unflinching honesty. According to the official logline, Margo must find a way to survive, and thrive, under mounting pressure, as she wrestles with the challenges thrust upon her. The show balances the harsh realities of financial struggle with moments of hope, resilience, and human connection.

The first look released alongside the premiere announcement gives a glimpse into Margo’s world,  emotionally fraught, unpredictable, and deeply human. With a cast that also includes high‑profile names beyond Fanning, Pfeiffer, and Offerman, and with a team of experienced writers and producers behind the scenes, Margo’s Got Money Troubles sets itself up as one of Apple TV’s most promising new originals.
