YouTuber, TikToker granted bail

ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail until tomorrow to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala in cases relating to a gambling app and cybercrime, directing authorities not to arrest them upon landing at Islamabad Airport. Justice Inaam Amin Minhas heard the petition for protective bail. Advocate Ahad Khokhar, representing the applicants, informed the court that his clients intend to return to Pakistan and face the cases. He requested protection from arrest upon their arrival so they may appear before the trial court.

The court approved the request, ordering that both individuals must not be taken into custody upon arrival tomorrow and instructed them to appear before the Islamabad High Court.
