Hollywood’s awards season officially kicked off Monday as the Golden Globes unveiled their 2026 nominations, spotlighting a wide slate of films, series and performances ahead of the ceremony on January 11.

With the Oscars looming in March, the Globes once again set the tone for what could dominate the conversation this year.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another emerged as the frontrunner on the film side, while HBO’s The White Lotus led all TV contenders.
