Imran's jail condition:PTI agrees to form panel
PM Adviser Sanaullah likely to head committee

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday accepted Prime Minister's Political Adviser Rana Sanaullah's offer and decided to form a committee to review the facilities provided to party founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.
During a meeting of the parliamentary party, members recommended Sanaullah to lead the committee, and the proposal was endorsed by most attendees. The offer was made by the premier's political adviser to allow the former ruling party to assess the conditions provided to Imran in jail.
The responsibility of compiling the committee's membership list was assigned to Shahid Khattak and Barrister Ali Zafar.
The meeting also revealed internal differences within the PTI parliamentary party. Several members expressed reservations regarding the party founder's message related to the NDU workshop and subsequent media statements.
According to sources, members said they had not received clear instructions about attending the workshop, which led to their unintentional participation.
Some members strongly criticised Imran's sisters for labeling attendees of the workshop as "Mir Jafar" and "Mir Sadiq", stating such discussions should have taken place within the party's internal forum rather than in the media.
Khattak took responsibility for addressing the misunderstandings and concerns arising from the workshop.
The meeting also discussed the procedure for visiting Imran in Adiala Jail, with members demanding that future press releases be issued in line with party policy to prevent discord.
Sources said parliamentary proceedings were also discussed in the meeting. Mahmood Khan Achakzai said if the speaker denied the opposition a chance to speak, they will not allow the proceedings to be held.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan emphasised the need to present the party's stance through the advisory committee. The view was supported by Achakzai and other leaders.
Barrister Ali Zafar maintained that decision-making should not be in the hands of any non-political individual, while Sheikh Waqas Akram said the decision to compromise or resist should rest with Achakzai.
Achakzai said he would act within the framework of the Constitution and had no hidden agenda.
Sources confirmed that the PTI parliamentary party has reconvened on December 10, stating that key decisions, a comprehensive policy, and final announcements will be made following that meeting.
