The rapper’s 'ain't snitchin'' lyric at LIV Miami with Offset reignites online debate over his past case

Gunna ignited renewed discussion around his past legal controversy after delivering a pointed lyric about loyalty during a late-night appearance at LIV Miami, where Offset stood beside him as the crowd erupted.

The moment, captured on video during Art Basel Week, quickly spread across social platforms and revived ongoing disputes about his involvement in the YSL case linked to Young Thug.

The rapper was seen taking the mic and shouting a lyric from G Herbo’s "Went Legit" emphasising that he would not “snitch on his mans,” sending the room into loud celebration as confetti and strobe lights filled the club.

Offset, raising his hands and dancing beside him, appeared fully engaged in the moment. 

The reaction was swift because the lyric touched on the core of the controversy that has followed Gunna since 2022, when he entered an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case.

He pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering and earned release on probation without testifying. Many people believed the plea indicated cooperation with authorities, though Gunna consistently denied this, stating he never testified, never identified anyone, and never acted against Young Thug.
