Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger are publicly clashing over publishing rights, contracts and long-standing issues connected to Death Row Records.

The cousins, who both emerged from the label in the early 1990s, have taken to social media to address their disagreement, intensifying a dispute that has been brewing since Daz’s recent departure from the company.

Daz has repeatedly claimed that he was removed from Death Row Records after refusing to hand over the publishing rights to his catalogue. In a YouTube video, he said, “They tried to go behind my back and trademark all of my work. And then flaunt it in my face like, 'We got it. That's all we wanted because we're gonna sell everything for a billion dollars to Universal.'”

His comments revived questions about internal tensions at the label since Snoop acquired it in 2022.

Snoop responded with a video of his own, rejecting Daz’s allegations and criticising him directly. He said, “I see you ain't got s**t to do but hate on me, huh? In a minute, I’m gonna to f**k you up, cuz, on some real s**t. Not physically but business wise 'cause you broke as a motherf**ker right now so I'm gonna f**k you up in a minute, cuz. Leave me the f**k alone.” The remarks prompted further debate among fans familiar with the cousins’ shared history.

Daz previously criticised Snoop in a radio interview last month, describing the moment he realised they had a rift. He said Snoop told him, “You ain't signing your catalog over to me,” to which Daz replied, “I'm keeping it. It's worth a lot.” He also mentioned that not being invited to a recent performance reinforced his belief that the relationship had changed.

The feud marks an unusual public turn for two artists who helped shape West Coast hip-hop and built significant parts of their careers together.
