The 'High School Musical' alum announced the birth of her second child on Instagram with a hospital photo

Vanessa Hudgens welcomed her second child with her husband Cole Tucker, sharing the news through a light-hearted hospital photo that immediately drew congratulations from fans across social media.

The actress announced the birth by posting an image of herself in a hospital bed holding her husband’s hand while pulling a funny face. She captioned the post, "Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do." The former High School Musical actress also revealed that she burst an eye vessel while giving birth.

Messages of celebration quickly appeared under the post while Tucker added three red heart emojis beneath the picture in a show of support. The announcement followed recent speculation after Hudgens uploaded a photo in front of a palm tree in which her baby bump was no longer visible.

The couple, who married in 2023, already share one child born in July 2024 and announced the second  pregnancy in July via a joint Instagram post captioned "Round two!!!!"

After the birth of their first child, Hudgens issued a statement saying, "We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time. Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy."

Earlier reports noted Vanessa leaving the hospital in a black jumpsuit and button-up shirt while holding her newborn close. The family has not released additional details as they celebrate the arrival of their newest member.
