Man held for assaulting mother in Dera Ghazi Khan
Police team took action on DPO's orders
LAHORE:
Dera Ghazi Khan police have arrested a man on the charges of assaulting his mother after the victim submitted a complaint at an open court.
According to a spokesperson, the elderly woman informed the authorities that she had been subjected to prolonged mistreatment, abuse and threats by her son, which endangered her safety and dignity.
District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Ali Wasim took prompt notice of the complaint and directed the police team to take immediate action.
