Johnson Wen, a 26-year-old Australian known online as @pyjamamann, grabbed Ariana Grande at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good on November 13, 2025.

The incident occurred on the yellow carpet at Resorts World Sentosa, where Wen jumped over the barrier and wrapped his arms around the singer before being intercepted by co-star Cynthia Erivo and security. Grande appeared visibly shocked during the encounter.

This was not Wen’s first high-profile disruption. He has a history as a serial event crasher, having previously disrupted Katy Perry’s Sydney concert, The Weeknd’s Melbourne show, and the men’s 100m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

His social media bio references these stunts, labeling him the “2023 World Cup Final Pitch Invader” and “Troll Most Hated.”

Following the Singapore incident, Wen was arrested and is scheduled to be charged with public nuisance in court. If convicted, he faces up to three months in jail, a fine of up to S$2,000, or both. Authorities may also deport him and bar him from returning to Singapore.

Wen later posted on Instagram claiming he was “free after being arrested,” along with a clip of the incident, drawing further attention online.
